Hmm.

Sorry that it has been a few days but we had an on the go weekend. Not with anything in particular but just busy. Right now I am sitting in my "Office" designing a thank you card for the pharmacy. Easier said than done for me thankfully Joy and Alyssa have really creative ideas. Tonight is workout number to for Joy and I. Over the weekend my dad, brother and I went to see Congressman Loebsack at SCC for a town hall concerning the new health care bill. If you have not looked into this bill, DO!! It is going to cost trillions (1,000,000,000,000,000 just to see all the zeroes) and that number is skewed because they are only figuring that number for 11,000,000 people. I say they are only figuring that for 11 mil. because the actual number of people in the U.S.A. sans health care is closer to 47,000,000 which significantly increases the price of this bill.

Anyway, all is good on the homefront. God has really shown Joy and I that we cannot do this on our own. We absolutely need Him to do anything in life. Nothing in-particular happened but just a great reminder of our need of God.

Mark 11:22-24 (English Standard Version)

22And Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Have a good one.

Thursday. The day after the love of my life and her sisters and mom went shopping for THE dress. The one and only time when spending a lot of money on an item you will only wear one time seems more okay than normal. Joy and the girls had a great time shopping yesterday. You may ask... What did they buy? Well, I don't know. Man do I want to know though. I was thinking about our story yesterday and how unbelievable God is. He has blessed Joy and I so much in our lives and allowing us to be together is the biggest blessing yet. I believe God has had His hands in our relationship since the beginning. Although you may feel like this is generic how true is this passage about love

1 Corinthians 13:4-13 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

On the agenda for today:

First Ever

Well here is my first ever blog post. For a long time now I have refused to get a blog but I just find something about blogging relaxing. Today is going to be a great day in Iowa, mid-80's and sunny. Although it will be a great day I am going to be sitting in a car delivering medicine to the nicest, oldest ladies I have ever met. Today will be a little different though because there will be one huge event going on today, my fiancée will be wedding dress shopping with her sisters and mom. HOW CRAZY?! Needless to say my mind may wonder a little bit today trying to imagine what dresses she is trying on and trying to imagine some of the crazy conversations that will be happening.

On the agenda for the day
Coffee Break with JOY :)
Deliver Drugs
Lunch with Matt
Deliver more Drugs
Come home and maybe build a shelf?

Well there goes my first stab at the wonderful world of blogging, thanks for reading.
